American pancake

 



Ingredients

To decorate:

  • Fruit: as desired (fresh)
  • Maple syrup: to taste
  • Flour: a cup and a half (sifted)
  • Baking powder: 3 teaspoons
  • Salt: a teaspoon
  • Sugar: a tablespoon
  • Milk: a cup and a quarter (liquid)
  • Eggs: 1 piece
  • Butter: 3 tablespoons (melted)







How to prepare

  • Put the sifted flour in a mixing bowl, then add the sugar, baking powder and salt.


  • Make a hole in the center of the ingredients, and add the melted butter, milk, and an egg.


  • Mix the ingredients well until combined.


  • Use a wide non-stick frying pan, put it on a medium heat, take a ladle of pancake batter and fry it on both sides until browned.


  • Repeat the previous step until you run out of quantity.


  • Put the pancakes on serving plates, and garnish with maple syrup, and fresh fruit, if desired.
