Egyptian Fattah

 




Ingredients


  • Rice: 400 grams
  • Meat: 500 grams
  • Bread: 200 g (toasted)
  • Meat broth: 2 cups
  • Garlic: 2 tablespoons
  • Tomato sauce: a cup
  • Vinegar: a quarter of a cup
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Butter: 300 grams






How to prepare


  • On a medium heat, put the butter and garlic in a suitable saucepan, stirring, until the garlic turns golden.


  • Add the sauce and keep stirring until the sauce is done.


  • Add vinegar to the mixture, stir it a little, then add a little water, salt and black pepper and bring it to a boil.


  • In a bowl, put the toasted bread and water it with the meat broth.


  • Boil the rice with a little salt.


  • In a suitable tray, put a layer of bread on top of it with a layer of rice and repeat the process until the quantity runs out.


  • The last layer of rice, put the entire amount of sauce and spread the meat over the dish.


  • Put the tray in the oven and turn on the grill for a few minutes, and serve hot.
