quick biryani
Ingredients
- Basmati rice: 2 cups (washed and drained)
- Onion: 1 piece (chopped)
- Oil: 2 tablespoons
- Garlic: 1 tablespoon (chopped)
- Cinnamon: Oud
- Salt, to taste
- Biryani spices: 1 tablespoon
- Dried coriander: a tablespoon
- Gram masala spices: 1 tablespoon
- Tomato paste: a tablespoon
- Water: as needed
- Ginger: 1 tablespoon (chopped)
How to prepare
- Heat the oil in a saucepan, then fry the onions until golden.
- Add garlic and ginger and stir well.
- Add all the spices and stir until the color of the ingredients becomes dark.
- Add tomato paste and water and bring the water to a boil.
- Add the drained rice, stir and leave it until it is done.
- Serve the biryani with daqoos salad and yogurt, or as desired.
