Ingredients

  • Basmati rice: 2 cups (washed and drained)
  • Onion: 1 piece (chopped)
  • Oil: 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic: 1 tablespoon (chopped)
  • Cinnamon: Oud
  • Salt, to taste
  • Biryani spices: 1 tablespoon
  • Dried coriander: a tablespoon
  • Gram masala spices: 1 tablespoon
  • Tomato paste: a tablespoon
  • Water: as needed
  • Ginger: 1 tablespoon (chopped)





How to prepare

  • Heat the oil in a saucepan, then fry the onions until golden.


  • Add garlic and ginger and stir well.


  • Add all the spices and stir until the color of the ingredients becomes dark.


  • Add tomato paste and water and bring the water to a boil.


  • Add the drained rice, stir and leave it until it is done.


  • Serve the biryani with daqoos salad and yogurt, or as desired.
