Baklava fingers with cream
Ingredients
- Baklava dough: half a kilo (slices)
- Cream: half a kilo
- Butter: 1 cup (soft at room temperature)
- Syrup: a cup (or honey to water the sweets)
How to prepare
- Divide the baklava dough slices in half and make sure to separate the slices in each section, so they don't stick to each other.
- Brush a little soft butter between each slice, and cut it into rectangles of equal sizes.
- On the edge of each rectangle, put a spoonful of the cream away from the edges, roll the dough and close it well.
- In an oven tray, put a butter paper and line the pieces of baklava dough and brush the face with butter well until it is completely covered.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius, and put the tray in for 25 minutes, until golden.
- Take it out of the oven and put it on a serving plate, then pour it with syrup, which must be completely cold or honey, and leave it until the baklava sticks absorb it with cream, then remove it from the syrup, and distribute it in a serving dish.
