orange pie



Ingredients

  • Puff pastry dough: 1 pack (ready)
  • Orange juice: 2 cups (fresh)
  • Starch: 3 tablespoons
  • Sugar: 4 tablespoons
  • Orange: 1 piece
  • Orange zest: a tablespoon
  • Oats: 1 tablespoon (or nuts)




How to prepare


  • Put the sugar on the orange juice, in a small saucepan, and mix well, with a clamp, then add the starch, and stir, until dissolved in the juice. 

  • Raise the juice pot on the fire and keep stirring until it boils. Then add the orange zest.

  • Pour half of the sweetened and thickened orange mixture over the prepared puff pastry, after shaping it.

  • Cut the orange after peeling it into circles, and put it inside the dough, then pour the other half of the orange mixture, so that it covers the grains, then sprinkle the pie with oats, or walnuts "to taste". Put it in the oven for 20 minutes. Or even blush its sides.
