Grape Leaves With Lemon Sauce Diet

 



Ingredients

  • Grape leaves: half a kilo (boiled)
  • Short-grain rice: 1 cup (soaked and drained)
  • Minced meat: quarter of a kilo (low-fat)
  • Parsley: 1/4 cup (chopped)
  • Green coriander: 1 tablespoon (chopped)
  • Onion: 1 piece (small and chopped)
  • Olive oil: a tablespoon
  • Tomato: 1 pc (chopped very fine)
  • Cardamom: sprinkled (crushed)
  • Salt: a teaspoon
  • Black pepper: half a teaspoon
  • Mixed spices: a quarter of a teaspoon
  • Cinnamon: a sprinkle
  • Lemon juice: as needed
  • Chicken broth: as needed (skimmed or water)
  • Tomato: 1 pc (sliced)




How to prepare

  • Put the soaked and drained rice in a mixing bowl, add the minced meat, mixed spices, black pepper, cinnamon, a pinch of cardamom, olive oil, parsley, tomatoes, coriander, onions, and salt.

  • Stir the ingredients well until combined.

  • Stuff the grape leaves with the mixture and put the tomato slices at the bottom of the pot.

  • Stuffed grape leaves fingers in the pot.

  • Add lemon juice, broth, and leave the grape leaves on the fire until full maturity.

  • Serve hot.
