Grape Leaves With Lemon Sauce Diet
Ingredients
- Grape leaves: half a kilo (boiled)
- Short-grain rice: 1 cup (soaked and drained)
- Minced meat: quarter of a kilo (low-fat)
- Parsley: 1/4 cup (chopped)
- Green coriander: 1 tablespoon (chopped)
- Onion: 1 piece (small and chopped)
- Olive oil: a tablespoon
- Tomato: 1 pc (chopped very fine)
- Cardamom: sprinkled (crushed)
- Salt: a teaspoon
- Black pepper: half a teaspoon
- Mixed spices: a quarter of a teaspoon
- Cinnamon: a sprinkle
- Lemon juice: as needed
- Chicken broth: as needed (skimmed or water)
- Tomato: 1 pc (sliced)
How to prepare
- Put the soaked and drained rice in a mixing bowl, add the minced meat, mixed spices, black pepper, cinnamon, a pinch of cardamom, olive oil, parsley, tomatoes, coriander, onions, and salt.
- Stir the ingredients well until combined.
- Stuff the grape leaves with the mixture and put the tomato slices at the bottom of the pot.
- Stuffed grape leaves fingers in the pot.
- Add lemon juice, broth, and leave the grape leaves on the fire until full maturity.
