Muammar rice with meat
Ingredients
- Egyptian rice: 1 kilo
- Minced meat: half a kilo
- Onion: 1 piece (chopped)
- Milk: a cup
- Water: 4 cups
- Cream: 2 tablespoons
- Butter: a tablespoon
- Cinnamon: a teaspoon
- Ginger: a teaspoon
- Meat seasoning: a teaspoon
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper to taste
How to prepare
- Fry the minced meat with chopped onions in butter on the fire.
- Add salt, black pepper, fine cinnamon, powdered ginger and spices.
- Put the ingredients in the casserole, then add the rice.
- Add the cream, milk and an amount of water to suit the amount of liquid. The rice is cooked.
- Put the tajine in the oven until fully cooked, then serve.
