Red pasta with chicken

 



Ingredients

  • Pasta: a box (farfalle or as desired)
  • Vegetable oil: 3 tablespoons
  • Chicken breast: 500 grams (cut into small cubes)
  • Onion: ½ cup (finely chopped)
  • Garlic: 1 tablespoon (crushed)
  • Hot pepper: 3 teaspoons (powdered)
  • Tomato sauce: a cup
  • Salt: a teaspoon
  • Black pepper: 1 teaspoon (ground)
  • Basil: a quarter cup (leafy green)




How to prepare


  • Heat the oil in a deep saucepan over a medium heat and add the chicken.


  • Use the wooden spoon to break up the chicken and leave it on the fire until browned.


  • Add the onions and stir with the chicken until softened, then add the garlic and hot pepper.


  • Pour the tomato sauce and season with salt and black pepper.


  • Reduce the heat and let the mixture boil over a low heat.



  • Boil pasta in salted water until tender.


  • Drain the pasta from the water and pour it over the sauce.


  • Start stirring the pasta until it mixes well with the sauce over a low heat for two minutes.


  • Place pasta with hot tomato sauce in a serving dish and garnish with basil leaves.
