Meatballs Kabsa

 



Ingredients

  • Kofta: 300 grams
  • Mixed spices: a teaspoon
  • Salt: half a teaspoon
  • Breadcrumbs: 2 tablespoons
  • Basmati rice: 1 cup (washed and soaked)
  • Onion: 1 piece (large size / chopped small cubes)
  • Cinnamon: Oud
  • Hill: 3 grains
  • Ghee: a tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil: a tablespoon
  • Hot water: a cup and a half
  • Tomato paste: 2 tablespoons
  • Kabsa spice: a tablespoon (love)
  • Nuts: as desired (roasted almonds and raisins)




How to prepare

  • Mix the kofta meat with salt, mixed spices, and breadcrumbs well, and form medium-sized balls, and put them in the pan.


  • Heat the oil in a frying pan and stir the kefta balls until browned on all sides.


  • Put in a saucepan of oil and ghee, and stir the onions with tomato paste, kabsa spices, cinnamon, cardamom and salt for 5 minutes.


  • Add rice and my heart, then add the kofta balls.


  • Pour the water, reduce the heat, cover the pot, and simmer on low heat for 30 minutes.


  • Place the kabsa in a serving dish, garnish with roasted almonds and raisins, and serve.
