Hawaiian orange cocktail
Ingredients
- For the syrup:
- Strawberries: 500 grams (washed and pressed)
- sugar: a cup
- Water: a cup
- Orange juice: 8 cups (fresh or bottled)
- Pineapple juice: 2 cups (fresh or bottled)
How to prepare
- For syrup: add water, sugar and strawberries to a medium-sized saucepan, stirring, over medium heat, until the sugar dissolves. When the mixture boils, reduce the heat, and keep the ingredients (without stirring) for an additional ten minutes.
- Strain the concentrated syrup, and cool it.
- The drink is prepared by distributing at the bottom of each cup 3 tablespoons of concentrated syrup, then distributing ice, a quarter of a cup of pineapple juice, then a cup of orange juice. Drink immediately.
